With that being said I'd still like to see if I can get a non-torrent version of iPhoto 9.5. When its all said and done though, I think I'll stick with Mavericks for maybe a month or two before I possibly migrate on to Yosemite.
#WHAT IS IPHOTO 9.6.1 UPGRADE#
This of course utilized Mountain Lion and I experienced a lot of the same issues with Mountain Lion on the 1 TB hard drive. Sorry that was not very clear - if you open your iPhoto library by mistake with Photos 4 (Mojave)- it will upgrade the data and the library to an Photos 4 library - I did this once by double clicking the library and was not paying attention when it asked to upgrade the library - luckily I had a back up of the iPhoto library and was able to revert / and keep the iPhoto version. There again my old hard drive was 1 TB and it was like about 80 GB away from filling up! However after I had the 2 TB hybrid drive installed, I initially reloaded it with the backup I had made from my old hard drive.

Also 6.2.8 would take what seemed like forever to load and quite often I would have to reload my open tabs. Iphoto 9.6.1 Download Dmg Download Iphoto For Mac Last updated in April, iPhoto ‘11 has gotten yet another maintenance update from Cupertino, where Apples software engineers have been busy addressing problems that caused the software to erratically display events on iOS devices after synchronization. Before the upgrade, I had to periodically restart my Mac to clear the RAM as it's 12 GB would slowly fill up and not clear out after quitting Safari several times. As iPhoto is no longer going to work when I upgrade my OS I am going to move them to LightRoom. I do not want them all on all of my devices though I love the idea of backing them up automatically. Also, Safari 9.0.2 is light years ahead of Safari 6.2.8 as far as performance goes. I have two large iPhoto (9.6.1) libraries with over 8- 10,000 photos in each and for just the reasons you say I have not moved them into Photos. Anyway beyond the perception that my Mac seems rejuvenated, I haven't had it lock up coming out of sleep mode or the screen saver. It lasted about half as long as the original drive that was still working when I had it replaced! I only replaced it because it was supposedly part of a defective batch of Seagate hard drives that Apple was replacing for free. This, ironically, replaced a failing replacement Seagate drive for a supposed faulty Seagate drive. However, I did just have a 2 TB Seagate hybrid drive installed. When I finally upgraded to Mavericks when El Capitan was released, I felt that my Mac seemed snappier.
